Svetlana Sorokina

Biography

Born in Petersburg, but has lived and worked in Moscow for 20 years.

Was the creator and host of informational and informational / analytical programs on RTR, NTV, Channel 1 and Channel 5, made several documentary films.

Currently works at the RIA Novosti information agency, on Echo of Moscow radio and teaches at the Department of Media Communications at the Higher School of Economics.

The author of a book about orphans entitled “These Stories Aren’t for Children” and a book about philanthropy entitled “It Isn’t All the Same to Me”.
Member of the Russian Academy of Television, the Community Council of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the supervisory board of the Lifeline Charitable Foundation and the Podmoskovny foster home and lyceum.
