Sergey Klimov

Biography

Born in Perm on October 22, 1958.

In 1981 graduated from Perm Polytechnic Institute having qualified as Mechanic Engineer.

Began a working career in 1983 as Head of the Organizational Department of the Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League for the Leninsky District of Perm.

In 1987–1989: Instructor of the Organizational Department of the Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People’s Deputies.

Since 1989: First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Perm Joint-Stock Commercial Bank.

In 1996–1997: Deputy Head of the Perm City Administration.

Since 1997: Executive Director of the Association for the Prikamye Region Development Promotion — KUB Association.

Since 2001 till present day: General Director of LLC Perm Fair Exhibition Center.

Member of United Russia All-Russian Political Party as well as member of the Political Council of the Regional Division of United Russia All-Russian Political Party for the Perm Territory.

Was delegate of the III Congress of Unity and Fatherland Union All-Russian Public Organization (2001).

Additionally, Sergey Klimov was member of the Regional Political Council of the of the Regional Division of United Russia All-Russian Political Party for the Komi-Permyak Autonomous Area (Convocations I and II) and member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council of the United Russia Party PKO for the Komi-Permyak Autonomous Area .

2006–2009: Deputy Secretary of the political Council of the United Russia Party PKO for the Komi-Permyak Autonomous Area.

Was deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Region (Convocations II and IV). Was awarded the order of Saint Sergius of Radonezh, 2nd class.

Married, raising three children.
