Her field of scientific interests is economic modernisation and innovative development, regional and municipal administration, urban development and budgetary federalism.
She has numerous publications on regional administration and development, anti-monopoly policy, housing and public utilities, municipal reform monitoring, and regional and municipal finances.
With her co-author, V. A. Mau she has published “Great revolutions from Cromwell to Putin” (Moscow, Vagrius, 2001), which has also been published in the UK.
In addition to her scientific work, she undertakes regional and municipal consulting.
