Pavel Mikov — Commissioner for children’s rights in the Perm region; a member of the Perm branch of the International Historical-Enlightment Human Rights and Humanitarian Society “Memorial”; a board member of the Perm Center for Civic Education and Human Rights municipal non-profit organization; a board member of the Perm branch of the Russian Children’s Foundation; a board member of the Perm branch of the Russian Peace Foundation; assistant professor in the Department of State and Legal Disciplines and Methods of Teaching Law at Perm State Pedagogical University.
Initiator and participant in these projects: enlightenment, educational, human rights, those focused on guaranteeing children’s rights (by monitoring how children’s rights are observed in educational establishments, the debate club for upper classman “I have rights,” the school of human rights, school of civic technologists, and many others).
Repeatedly represented the Russian Federation in the Council of Europe; was involved as an expert on civic education, human rights, and protecting children’s rights in international projects for the Russian Federation and the European Union.
The author of more than 90 research and educational methods publications on civic education issues, law, human rights, children’s rights, and methods for teaching legal disciplines.
