Nikolay Karpushin was born in June 29, 1961 in Perm, Russia.
In 1984, he graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Perm State Teachers’ Training Institute. In 1996, he graduated from Perm State Technical University, the Department of Economics. Ph. D. in Education (Candidate of Science).
In 1990, he lectured on world banking systems in the Department of World Bank at the Russian Government Academy of National Economy.
In 1991, he was the founder of Business School for newly born private businesses and startup entrepreneurs in Perm.
In 1994, Nikolay Karpushin founded and became the Head of the School of Economics in Perm.
In 1995, he won the competition and participated in the USG “Business for Russia” program in Kentucky (USA).
In 1997, he lectured in the University of Louisville (USA) on the development of economic education for the Russian school system.
Since 2003, he had a position of the Chairman of Committee of Education and Science of Perm City Administration.
