Maxim Chereshnev

Biography

Ph. D. in Economics. Certified Manager under the President’s program. Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, completed MBA program at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

At various times Mr. Chereshnev was responsible for implementation of a major regional project in one of the transnational corporations, was the head of group of companies. He has extensive experience in organization and development of service industry business. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of International Exhibition Complex “Novosibirsk Expocenter”.

Being a businessman with a proactive life philosophy, Mr. Chereshnev was involved in youth policy at the international level: he was a delegate from Russia at the Youth Group of Eight Summit in Italy, was a member of the Youth Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of the Federation. At various times, he headed the Center for the effective modernization, Siberian International Congress of Innovative Entrepreneurship. At various times, he undertook internships in the U. S., UK, Germany, Italy and China.

Mr. Chereshnev speaks German and English. He takes interest in oratorical skill, aikido, and skiing. Mr. Chereshnev is married and has a daughter.

In business he is guided by the Aikido principles, “External circumstances shall be exploited, not overcome.”
